Creatures of the Wind是由Shane Gabier和Chris Peters两位设计师于2007年共同创立的美国品牌。品牌名Creatures of the Wind来自于歌手Johnny Mathis 1957年的一首名为《Wild is The Wind》的歌曲。
Shane Gabier和Chris Peters两位设计师钟情于廓形的设计，灵感多来自于颠覆性的次文化和年轻主义，他们重视面料细节，他们大胆尝试糅合色彩、混合图案、拼接材质的技法，使Creatures of the Wind的女装青春洋溢之余带有几丝小心机，对艺术灵感的捕捉在成衣设计上的应用得到了很好的诠释。

Shane Gabier和Chris Peters是在芝加哥艺术学院 (School of the Art Institute of Chicago) 学习时尚设计时相遇，毕业后Shane Gabier搬到了比利时安特卫普，在Dirk Schonberger开始了他的第一份男装设计工作，之后他又曾在毕业于安特卫普皇家艺术学院设计师Jurgi Persoons手下工作。Chris Peters则是用了两年的时间在美国艺术家及服装设计师Nick Cave的艺术工作室担任其助理。

2008年6月，Creatures of the Wind品牌的第一个系列诞生，Creatures of the Wind 2010秋冬系列部分商品在纽约的Barney's出售，这也是他们的第一个在纽约售卖的系列。
2010年9月，Creatures of the Wind品牌的第一次发布会在2011春夏纽约时装周以静态展的方式呈现，之后品牌服装便出现在各大时尚媒体杂志上，也在各大零售商店出售，但生意一直不佳，年销售额不足100万美元。
2011年，Creatures of the Wind获得CFDA/Vogue时尚基金亚军同时得到10万元的时尚资金，这也使其成为时尚界的一颗新星，又在2012年以及2013年被提名。
2012年，Creatures of the Wind与J.Crew合作推出一系列作品。
